Lunch for the Worms

from Business by Perhaps Contraption

/
  • Limited Edition CDR in Bespoke Latex Case/Instant Download
Compact Disc (CD) + Digital Album

Business is available as a numbered, hand stamped CDR, housed in bizarre, bespoke latex packaging.

Each copy is lovingly crafted & designed by members of the band & Am Statik Latex. The innovative 3 panel yellow rubber design has a transparent window and is secured by a metal popper.

It comes complete with a signed and numbered twelve panel poster print of the original Business artwork.

To view the construction of this wobbling musical oddity please see our blog post:

The high price is due to the very long process and expensive materials it takes to create such a thing. Perhaps Contraption receive a minimal revenue from each sale.

To be frank, it's an absurd business model (pardon the pun) but we made it because, we just had to, and thought it would be an interesting thing to do. We hope you like it.

The package also includes an immediate download of 12-track album in your choice of 320k mp3, FLAC, or just about any other format you could possibly desire.

about

lyrics

If I should die soon,
Please bury me in a coffin that will rot
and rot at the rate I rot.
Under a horse chesnut tree please, a tree please a great big one.

SO my insides and out, will slowly seep out -
back in to the soil
back in to the soil.

And maybe I will nourish,
the growth of that tree,
or I will provide,
lunch for the worms
lunch for the worms.

Until,
my maybe, old, bones, remain.
Smooth like the conkers.
Bristling, above ground, above, above...

Much younger and, more ignorant,
than the ground I will rest
younger and, more innocent,
than the ground I will rest
younger and, more ignorant
than the ground I will rest
younger and, more innocent
than the ground I will rest, I will rest in.
